Prerequisites
You will have validated the catalog structure you will need to differentiate well between an offer and a product you will have verified that your products are eligible, you will have become aware of Amazon Categorization.
Feature: Product Creation
For the creation of new products on Amazon, you will first see Product Creation Generalities.
The Product Creation feature will add Mappings and Profiles tabs, and a profile selector in Categories tab.
The goal is to create products deemed nonexistent on Amazon; products that are not available on Amazon, for example that have a valid EAN code but are unknown on Amazon.
Before starting with Creation Mode check that your products do not exist on Amazon: Type one of your EAN codes in their search engine.
This operation is only done once per product and can be repeated to update product data.
For a product to be created with the module on Amazon it is necessary;
- To have created a profile, you will have a look at help on profile creation
- Creating profiles leads to the creation of mappings, you must fill in the mappings
- Creating profiles makes it necessary to select a profile associated with the category in Categories tab, the information shown on the profiles will be reflected in all products of this category.
Once these three steps completed, you can go to Amazon > Catalog tab, and send your products feed. Follow the instructions on Product Creation.
In case support is needed, you’ll send us the XML Feed as well as the Report.
