Profiles
Profiles are used to qualify your products, to assign them common values and thus to match the product sheet structure of your Prestashop store to the one on Amazon.
Several categories may have the same profile. The information in the profile will be passed on Amazon for all products concerned by it.
Models, Templates (Flat File)
When you do not use the module, you need “templates”, the model of file used to export on Amazon, known as Flat File. With the module you won’t normally be needing these templates. However, we advise you to download your template, since it contains information that will be useful in setting up your profile, you will find this information in “Valid Values”.

Classification, Categorization
On Amazon, products are classified and categorized by departments and categories. Each department contains products, classified by Product Type, and categorized in a tree of categories, these nuances are important.
- Your profile will have a universe and a “Product Type” that are not related to the category.
- Your profile will have a categorization: a recommended browse node which is also not related to the product type.
This information will be applied to all products concerned by the profile.
Combinations, Variants
Your combinations will be exported automatically to their equivalent on Amazon, the variants. For this you must have selected the attributes, usually size and/or color.
