Prerequisites

You have a total control of the module, you know how to create products, manage profiles, synchronize your offers, import orders, all your scheduled tasks are operational (etc.). The repricing is the last feature to be activated, it also requires a good general knowledge of Amazon.

Note, however, the configuration is very simple and is done on a single page;

Support Limitation

We will not provide technical support on these features with the exception of technical anomalies that might occur, we do not aim to train the user to use the repricing functions.

General Functioning

The repricing automaton of the module uses the combination of two Amazon services, Amazon MWS (Marketplace) notifications and Amazon AWS queue messages. This is why it will be necessary to register to Amazon AWS.

Amazon MWS notifies via Amazon AWS, the module retrieves at regular interval the notifications, logs the offers that are eligible for repricing in an Amazon AWS output queue.

A second step is to collect this queue of offers to be updated on Amazon, to collect them via Amazon AWS and to send them to Amazon MWS (Marketplace).

Cost

Common-Services does not receive any commission or compensation or other income from this service, but there is a real cost; it is invoiced as an additional service you purchase from Amazon AWS.

The Amazon AWS Service has an operating cost that will depend on the number of products in your store and their audience, precisely the update frequency of offers from other sellers on these competing offers.

As a guide, if you have 5,000 active products of average popularity, it is estimated that this service will be charged by Amazon 5 to 10 euros per month. This is purely indicative, it will be necessary that you monitor your own consumption.

However, even if this service has a cost, whatever it is, even reduced, it is more than compensated by the sales potential and above all the sales generated through the implementation of this feature.
